The AVE Hybrid SVGC is a more cost-effective solution. The cost reduction is achieved by using a capacitor bank to take the central portion of the Var compensation. At the same time, the active filter will compensate for the intermediate steps and the inductive reactive power. Also, the active filter will work as a load balancer and harmonic filter. The integrated AVE technology will protect against transient voltage surges and dips together with zero-sequence harmonics.
